About
Welcome! My name is Tammy Trujillo. I have loved fashion ever since I was forced to wear a dress code to school. In my early days, I didn’t have many fashion choices, thus my fashion obsession began because of it. I wanted to create a place where I can express my gratitude to those who inspire me and start conversation about what in fashion inspires you. Fashion Hodge Podge is a blog where I post my thoughts about anything that catches my eye, and document my personal style.
As for me, I developed a love obsession for the fashion industry when working in photography for 3 years, which lead to working in the model industry. As a model agent for 5 years, model management and placement took me back and forth between New York and Los Angeles to successfully place models and talent worldwide in New York, Milan, Los Angeles, Paris, and London. It was quite the whirlwind, but I had the time of my life and had the amazing opportunity to work with the wonderful crew at IMG Models, NY Models, Elite, Women, Supreme, Storm, DNA Models, and more. Overseeing models and preparing them for the current fashion industry and modeling world, photo shoots, imaging and styling influenced me to where I am today. It essentially put me on my path to seek out new fashion ideas every day.
I’ve also worked a few clothing retail jobs here and there too, which sparked my interest in marketing and my yearn for understanding fashion retailer’s relationships with consumers from every intriguing part of the sales cycle (concept to design and production, to retail floor).
I love fashion marketing and engaging with others in the fashion industry about their own styles and inspirations. To me, its intriguing what ad campaigns resonate with consumers to make them affiliate themselves with a brand. My quest is to give mad props to fashion brands that do a great job at marketing and PR. So, this blog is for me to share news, thoughts, photos, and inspirations about the ever-changing and ever-evolving world of fashion, fashion marketing, and art of it all.
