Thinking about the year… what would I do without my blazers? Not gonna lie, I have started a small blazer collection over the past months. I do not have a sequin lad, but definitely pondered the thought.

Jessica from Vintage Virgin
After seeing Vintage Virgin in this striped blazer, I’m kicking myself for returning that Whitney Eve one b/c I thought I looked like a basketball ref. Jess, piled on so many baubles that it’s far from just one whistle.

Ok, so had to throw in a black ensemble, but this one has mega-major-cajunga shoulder pads! Swoooooon.

Liz from Late Afternoon
The next solid edition would be a kelly green or a cobalt blue, but digging how the different shades of green on Liz just beam of summer awesomeness.

Blush? Check. Arm fiesta gathering = work in progress.

Sandra from 5 Inch and Up
Why is there not a TopShop in LA yet? Come on! I’m slowly being sympatheic towards flowers this year, since I did “resolve” in 2011 to try more colors and prints. I have one floral skirt but mostly started a love affair with leopard. So maybe the floral revival will be in 2012 for my closet ? – but it can’t be too girly. Side note: Sandra totally reminds me of Chloe Sevigny in this pic.

Betty from Le Blog de Betty
In the naaaaaa-vy! Dah, da, da, dah ha! Bold shoulders = fabulous. Good thing its not red, otherwise I would have to have veered from it being a ring master and all….But I like it.

Leandra from The Man Repeller
The silver bullet of them all. This is another kicker. I had reservations about a bronze blazer at Zara a few months ago, went back to get it, and it was dunzo! Doh. Now I see this pic and really just have to shake my head. Next time, just go with it if it catches your eye. Lesson learned.

Growing up in AZ, I never was super fond of hats since it’s typically hot 9 months out of the year and sweaty hair isn’t too attractive. So when I moved to New York, and seasons broke me into head gear, now I’m diggin all the fedora hats this season. I’m looking for a black fedora, that can act as my staple hat and go with anything. After seeing this gorg editorial, I think it’s a pretty done deal.
Right?

Collar poppin’ is not what you think it is.

The Dog Collar: Total metal locked accessory against a crisp white button up. Pretty solid.

Continuing with my case of the ga-ga-gimmies, I can’t stop loving all the piled on jewelry right now. From rings, necklaces, to cuffs, watches, and bracelets – there all sooo cool. It’s super crazy that I used to pile everything on like this in 5th grade, and now it’s chill again. But makes me awfully grateful, that when it comes to accessories I’m a hoarder and pretty much saved everything. Phew! (… and so the collecting continues) I just wish I could get my paws on some Chanel, YSL, or super rad vintage pieces so I can really invest in this wrist-y business!
Check out these super fly shots from some of my fave blogs.
From the Block – hell yah! Oversized watch mixed with slim-jim batch of metal bangles, and a huge spikey guy.
AlixRose – she’s also into “bracelets that bite”, and has a cool set up of some major arm candy.
Dusty Rose In Wonderland – how sweet is this mix? Silver, gilver, bronze? YEEEEEAHHHH!
Late Afternoon – it’s rock and roll time with this AMAZE YSL cuff that Liz got to wear. Seriously, so seriously major.
Refinery29 – probs the coolest stack attack ever! Just epic in every way. Plus, I have a thing for blush blazers right now too! heheh.
Sincerely Jules – pretty much wears bombdigity badass bracelets in every single one of her posts. The cuff-watch-cuff sandwich is one of my faves.
Ahhh, if only i had the funds to add to my collection. Some-day.

Ever since I saw Sandra at 5 inch and Up wearing a rad two finger chain ring, I’ve been searching for one of my own. I’ve stalked out eBay of course, and I didn’t have much luck. I’ve been combing other blogs to see if I can find any good cool jewerly site recs, but none so far. Im pretty bummed. I’m totally fixated on these rings, and when I saw this pic on tumblr it reminded me more of how much I need to conquer this quest. But now, its like bracelet chain ring-thing option, versus two finger single chain, or multi-chain. Ahhh! So many choices. I need to narrow it down. Let me know if there are any sweet pieces I should take a look at.
