I havent been to Macy’s in Herald Square in a few weeks, but when I walked in today I was in awe of the flower show on the first floor. Real flowers were all over shelves and displays by handbags, perfume, and makeup. It was almost surreal. There were guided tours explaining the species of each plant, water fall fountains, and over-sized hanging butterflies.
So, is Macy’s purpose of the flower show to just get foot traffic into the store?
Will it really help boost sales? I didnt buy anything today, but I did fall in love with this floral concept.
If anyone knows of anything behind the floral show, please share! I find this really intriguing.
