I remember wearing socks with my jellies and sandals when I was in first grade. Yes, that dates me, but I loved it. I even had socks with lace trim. 
When NYMag posted “8 Killer Socka and Sandal Combos” I was excited since I saw a great sock and sandal combo in H&M in Midtown last September.
One of my favorite combos are the Steve Madden Trackks platform sandals with the Falke Socks. I like the chunky shoe and zipper detail against the colorful sock.
My next fav is the Mossimo patina wedge sandals. Not just because they are $24.99, but they are a cute twist on a neutral shoe and sock. I like that the socks with sandals is making a comeback, but it looks best with heeled sandals and wedges, especially if you don’t want to make your legs look shorter. Definitely a good trend to switch up the wardrobe!
